Mixed Media Mini Canvas

I just wanted to share one of the mixed media canvases that I made using a http://stencilgirlproducts.com/  stencil, I don't remember the name but it's a stencil of small gears and very detailed.
I lost a lot of the nice detail because I used Martha Stewart textured metallic specialty finish, I don't feel it was the best product to use but the results are not bad, just less detailed. The finish is a gritty metallic bronze color, once it was dry i added some green acrylic paint for a patina effect.

Mandala

I made this today for Craig's office. He doesn't want it for his office so I hung it behind my desk. I used bits of washi paper and other paper I have around. Then I stitched between the pieces with different colors of thread and finished with the gold tread.
