New Henna Tattoos

I decided to go with a fish theme this time >}}}}}> The blue color that can be seen a bit is from the transfer paper. I transfered some of the major design elements and then did the rest freehand. I like the koi on my palm but im not too thrilled with the waves by its tail. Ah well, live and learn. After i finished my design and it dried i sprayed it with lemon juice and sugar that i mixed and added to a spray bottle. Then Craig wrapped up my hand. Im really happy how it came out =) Ill probably glue some gems on the eyes of the fish on the back of my hand.





Craig did a great job of taping up my hand to keep the henna paste on while i slept. I also put a large sock over my hand to keep it warm. Heat helps the stain, or so ive read.





This was taken this morning after about 9 hours of having the henna paste on, its already gotten darker and will continue to darken over the next two days.

Stars!!

Ive become a bit obsessed with nautical stars. The star inside the circle with flowers is inspired by a dream I had.

More Doodles!

I snapped some quick pics of these new doodles. Its easy to tell how henna tattoo designs have influenced my work. Ive also started playing with a bit of color.

Ogim Art !!!!

This is what I worked on this afternoon. I bought those Keller Creations panel pieces a while ago and never made anything with them. I also planned on making a scrapbook when we got Ogim but never did. Hes a year and 4 months and i had more fun making those panels than scrapbooking.

Craig took this at my mother in laws Fourth of July picnic. Just the top of my hand though.

Henna Swallow

Yesterday at my mother in laws 4th of July picnic I got to paint on my cousin in law. She wanted a swallow between her shoulder blades.....though...it was hard for her to sit still, and afterward the tattoo got messed up but it was fun to do =)

My new henna tattoos, I used ready made paste from www.HennaCaravan.com I just took the paste off this morning, I had it on for about 10 hours, it should continue to darken over the next 24 hours.
